Promoted, Not Trained

Leadership Training and a Monthly Practice Group

The Circle closes the gap between being trusted with responsibility and being prepared to lead people. It gives emerging leaders a structured place to practice communication, accountability, delegation, judgment, conflict navigation, and steadiness under pressure.

For newly promoted managers, supervisors, team leads, and anyone willing to lead.

The Circle is a monthly leadership practice group — the same small group every month, a structured curriculum, and real work. Not passive training. Not a content library. You practice how you strategize, plan, communicate, decide, delegate, and lead.

You Were Promoted Because You Were Good At The Work.

  • You knew the work. Now you are responsible for the people doing it.
  • Feedback, delegation, accountability, and conflict became part of the job before anyone showed you how to handle them.
  • Your team brings decisions back to you because expectations and decision rights are still unclear.
  • In public safety, you may be leading former peers while making judgment calls under pressure.
  • You want to lead with confidence without becoming controlling, distant, or chronically available.

You are not falling short. You are at a threshold. What brought you here was capability and effort. What carries you forward is a different kind of work — and a place to practice it.

Why This Is Different

Most Programs Teach You About Leadership. This One Changes How You Lead.

Not a content library

You will not binge videos and forget them by Monday. Each month you learn one thing, practice it in your real work, bring it to your group, and leave with one change to carry for thirty days.

Not a networking group

The same seven or eight people every month, working through real leadership challenges together. Trust builds because the room stays the same — and the work goes deeper because of it.

The way you lead and the way your work runs are the same system. Change one, and you change both.

The Founding 100

Join The First 100.

The first 100 members join The Circle — the founding group shaping The Orchard from the beginning. Same small group every month. Same facilitator. Structured curriculum. Real conversations about real leadership challenges.

Founding places are filled by conversation, not checkout. We begin with a short conversation to understand what you are carrying and whether The Circle is the right fit — for you and for the room. When the 100 are full, enrollment closes and a waitlist opens.

How It Works

A Monthly Rhythm You Can Keep.

The same permanent small group of seven to eight, the same facilitator, the same structured curriculum — a rhythm that makes coherence something you maintain, not something you chase.

Week 1

Learn

A concise monthly teaching — the capacity you are developing, named in plain language and set up to practice.

Week 2

Practice

The structured practice applied to your real context — your role, your team, your venture. Applied action, not journaling.

Week 3

Gather

Your permanent 90-minute Orchard Circle. Same group, same facilitator, working the month's theme through real experience.

Week 4

Commit

One clear practice to carry for the next 30 days, with a short reflection check-in along the way.

The Circle is not coaching. It is not therapy. It is not motivational content. It is a leadership practice.

Before You Apply

Questions People Ask First.

Why is it an application and not just a sign-up?

Because the group is the product. We place you in a permanent circle of seven or eight people, and the fit of that room matters. The conversation helps us put you with the right facilitator and the right people. It is not a test — it is a placement.

How much time does it take each month?

One 90-minute circle, plus a short monthly teaching and a practice you apply in your real work. Most members spend two to three hours a month. It is designed to fit a working leader's life, not add another job to it.

Is this coaching?

No. Coaching is one person advising you. The Circle is a structured practice in a small group — you learn a capacity, practice it, and work it through with people carrying the same kind of weight. The facilitator guides the room; the room does the work.

What happens after the Founding 100 fill?

Enrollment closes and a waitlist opens at the standard $199 rate. Founding members keep the $149 rate for life. The founding window does not come back.
